nomination in a Supporting Actor
category where the primary focus has been the back - and - forth wins for the
top two contenders, Willem Dafoe and Sam Rockwell, while there remains an open - ended glut of contenders to fill the three spots beneath them.

CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3 is tied with Kojima Productions» Metal Gear Solid 5 at the

There Will Be Blood is one of only two nominees that have the seemingly required

category to pick up the
top award, but almost an three - hour character study stands little chance.
