I get fresh milk from them, it has about 2 — 3 inches of FRESH cream on
the top of a gallon of milk.

I didn't know what «
top milk» was, but as a girl we lived next door to people who had a
milk cow and often had
gallons and
gallons of fresh
milk.
On
top of that, I get 5
gallons of milk, 2 lb cheese, 4 cans beans, whole grains (bread / torillas), 36 oz cereal, $ 10 fruits / veggies, 30 oz tuna, 64 oz juice and 2 dozen eggs.
So, instead, I pumped 2 «extra»
gallons of milk to cover my absence before I left (on
top of the
gallons that the twins were already drinking!)
If raw dairy is sold near you, you can buy a
gallon of milk and the cream
top is just the thicker «stuff» that has risen to the surface.
