Melt the rest of the coconut oil in a pan, and then mix it in with the granola, before placing this mixture
on top of the pears 4.
Bake the tart for 35 to 40 minutes until the top is golden brown, then move the tart onto a cooling rack and cool for 20 minutes, then brush
top of pears with melted jam.
Lay the pear slices on top of the puff pastry and drizzle the remaining butter mixture
over top of the pears.
Drizzle the top of the cake lightly with maple syrup (don't pool it, you just want a touch on
top of each pear really).
Layer seared flank steak
on top of pear mixture and spoon pear mixture over top.
Continue wrapping until you reach
the top of the pear.
• Lay the banana on
top of the pear, straightening out the banana carefully.
Set one pear on
top of each pear.
Break the crumble topping into small pieces and sprinkle crumble topping over
the top of the pears.
Lay a piece of parchment paper (with a hole cut in the center to allow steam to escape) on
the top of the pears to keep them submerged so that they don't discolor.
Gently press pear halves into the mix, with
the top of the pears curve sitting flush with the surface of the mix.
You can see at
the top of the pear, I used some of the blue from the outline as reflected light from the teapot.
