I know I've made a gluten - free
banana and chocolate
banana bread before, but this time, I've swirled some lovely peanut butter to the batter and poured a pecan praline sauce
on top because why not?
With a quick vanilla glaze drizzled
on top, this amped - up
banana bread was both delicious and elegant.
Also, putting praline
topping on already amazing
banana bread is brilliant!
I actually love mini-things but don't have mini-tins, so I dump the double recipe into a bundt pan and when I'm feeling extra lovey — I make a double batch of the caramel sauce (from your wonderful caramel cake), pour it
on top of the cake and then sprinkle Maldon sea salt flakes for a dessert - y version of my beloved
banana bread.
And while the coconut and pineapple add texture and sweetness, the sugar
on top adds crunch, and the dark rum adds a bit of luxury, my favorite part of this
banana bread is the hint of nutmeg in the batter.

On a scale of 1 to Trader Joe's Cornbread (my Dad's FAVORITE breakfast item) this
banana bread came in at a very close second, which is really saying something since there's been times I've flown home with half my suitcase filled with that dang cornbread.
Pour the rest of the

on top and repeat swirl process with the rest of the Nutella.
The peanut butter layer set into a strangely hard texture, and the jelly was so liquid - y (didn't let it cool, see previous mention of not enough time) that when I put the remaining

on top, the jam oozed out all around the sides /

topping each of them differently and its a great way to use up some ripe

on your counter.
They are like a baked oatmeal, except you can eat them
on the go, and they taste like a
banana bread, with the texture and size of a muffin (okay, muffin
top).

on your hot bowl of oatmeal,
top with the crumbled
banana bread, almond butter, maple syrup, and if you want, a splash more plant milk.

It is this cornmeal

This Brazil nut

on my list for sure, but

Bake the

top shelf of your oven for 60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
1 c of Quinoa Flour (you can use another other type of gluten free flour that you have
on hand) 1 c of Teff flour 3/4 c of sugar 3/4 tsp of baking soda 1/2 tsp of salt 3 tsp of ground cinnamon 4 overripe
bananas 1/4 c of Chobani non fat plain yogurt (you can use 2 % as well) 2 eggs 6 tbl of melted I can't believe it's not butter (or regular butter) 1.5 tsp of vanilla extract Optional:
Top the
bread with your favorite nut (I used about 1/3 c)

on top of your raw

At breakfast, highlights include a Quinoa «Oatmeal» with various
toppings including Brown Butter with
Bananas and Almonds; as well as several egg sandwiches including Egg Whites and Roasted Peppers with caramelized onions and feta cheese in a brown rice wrap; Bacon or Ham, Egg, and Cheese
on a whole grain English Muffin; and an Open Face Egg Salad with avocado and tomato
on whole grain
bread.
Let's suppose that, rather than start the day off with this cinnamon bun breakfast, our hypothetical subject instead toasts two slices of 100 % whole grain
bread,
tops each with a tablespoon of peanut butter, and chows down
on a
banana.

Using whole - wheat, seed and oat or Ezekiel
bread definitely improves the amount of protein, minerals and vitamins in the snack, whereas some sliced
banana on top provides for a sweet delight.
