While the dashi is infusing, remove the dark green
tops of the scallions from the white bulbs.
Remove salmon from marinade and set on
top of scallions.
Add the green
tops of the scallions, fry for another minute and remove from the heat.

Big, giant biscuits that you can get a la carte or with a big selection
of hearty fillings like the Brisket Biscuit (a biscuit with brisket, pickled onion, smoked chèvre, poached egg, and buffalo hollandaise) or the Asheville Benedict (an open faced biscuit
topped with charred
scallion cream cheese, fresh tomatoes, 2 poached eggs, hollandaise, roasted red peppers, and a tossed kale salad).
Remove from heat once golden brown and
top with
Scallion and a drizzle
of vegan blue cheese.
Top the potato soup with plenty
of scallions, extra-sharp cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
Method: Drain and chop the tofu and hearts

At its most basic, I simply cooked the oatmeal in some chicken broth with a slice
of ginger,
topped it with a poached egg, drizzled a little soy sauce and sesame oil on
top, and added a sprinkling
of chopped
scallions.
Simmer over low heat about 5 to 10 minutes longer, then serve up bowls
of chili and
top with shredded cheese,
scallions, and tomatoes.
We are going to have it tonight as a side dish with chicken schnitzels (which i could kill for anytime!!!!) And
of course i will then add the chopped fresh cilantro and
scallions on
top — can't wait!!!
Also, try wrapping some around a mix
of sauteed mushrooms with soy / garlic /
scallion / chive and then pan frying them, and drizzle some Worcestershire sauce on
top.
And I put a blob
of yogurt on
top, under my
scallions.
Scatter a few chopped
scallions on the
top of each bun, and serve warm with a side
of gluten free soy sauce.

of orzo, dry 1 pound
of precooked shrimp, defrosted (wild - caught is best) 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 3 Teaspoons
of Old Bay, divided 1 Cup
of grape tomatoes, sliced in half 1 Cup
of golden tomatoes, sliced in half 5
Scallions, chopped (white and green parts) 1 Cup Parsley, chopped Juice
of 3 lemons 1/2 Teaspoon salt Pepper to taste 1/4 Cup reduced - fat feta cheese
Top with fresh avocado
Divide onto plates and
top with sesame seeds and green parts
of scallions.
Mix the
scallions into the cornbread batter and pour on
top of the cheese.
Pour the negi - yaki sauce over the tofu, spooning the peppers and
scallions on
top of the tofu.
Divide the noodles among 4 to 6 plates and
top each with some
of the remaining
scallions and sesame seeds, and serve.
Top with a tablespoon
of cheddar cheese, and 1/3 cup cornbread batter mixed with
scallions.
To Assemble: In a bibb lettuce leaf, add a scoop
of basmati rice,
top with the warm shrimp and garnish with
scallions.
;) I'm thinking it would be amazing to use as a
topping over a baked sweet potato, sling with a dollop
of Greek yogurt and a sprinkling
of scallions or chives!
I then
top the rice with the veggies and tofu, a healthy drizzle
of sesame oil and
topped with
scallions.
Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Potatoes Twice - baked potatoes are delicious: ultra soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and
topped with all sorts
of goodness, like cheese,
scallions and bacon.
top with fried
scallions and fried garlic, garnish with the rest
of the diced chive blossoms and dress with spicy soy sauce.
Sometimes I will even just simmer some thai curry paste, coconut milk, broth and chopped cilantro stems, then throw in a handful
of noodles, chop some additional cilantro and
scallion over
top and make really fast «laksa».
* 8 cups organic chicken stock, preferably homemade * 5 kaffir lime leaves * 1 thumb - sized chunk
of fresh ginger, peeled * 2 tablespoons «Dates and Tamarind Cooking Sauce» (I used the one from Stonehouse 27 which is a great combination
of sweet and spicy; if you can't find it, I would add a tablespoon or two
of palm or brown sugar to sweeten the broth and some minced fresh hot chile pepper / dried Thai chiles / hot chile sauce to spice it up) * 2 tablespoons Thai fish sauce * 3 medium carrots, peeled if not organic and cut lengthwise into strips a few inches long * 1 red pepper, preferably organic, seeded and thinly sliced lengthwise * green
tops from 1 bunch
of green onions /
scallions, cut to approximately same length as carrots and peppers * 12 oz.
With the bright broccoli, and thin, white coconut broth, simply douse everything with a good amount
of lime juice, and the soup takes on an entire (equally delicious) different personality - same
toppings (tofu / almonds /
scallions).
In individual bowls, I laid down a bed
of noodles, then the chicken, then sprinkled the red pepper, zucchini and
scallions on
top.
Garnished with a bit more
of the
scallion tops.
Next time, I will either only use some
of the sauce made from the first 6 ingredients (except for the
scallions), or eliminate the sauce entirely and just serve the dish with the hoisin / hot chili paste with
scallions on
top.
Serve
topped with lots
of chopped cilantro, and Thai basil, more fresh chopped
scallions, and roasted peanuts.
Serve with Asian Chicken Meatballs on large pieces
of leaf lettuce,
top with additional
scallions and sesame seeds if desired.
I made lots
of substitutions according to what I had on hand - used leeks for
scallions (most went in to stir fry pan but used a few to sprinkle on
top), also used zucchini, and increased garlic and ginger to about 1 tablespoon each.
In the meantime, wash and finely chop the
scallions, discarding the roots and the tips
of the green
tops.
Coconut Broccoli Soup -(101 Cookbooks) A simple broccoli and spinach affair, made with coconut milk broth, double greens (broccoli & spinach), and
topped with good stuff like pan-fried tofu cubes, lots
of toasted almonds, and shredded
scallions.
This fantastic dish consist
of corn tortillas which are stuffed with black beans and spinach smothered in a spicy tomato sauce and
topped with cilantro, tahini and
scallions.
Top with a drizzling
of ginger sesame soy dressing, hemp seeds, reserved
scallions, cilantro, and avocado, if you wish.
Divide tofu onto mayo layers
of half
of your bread slices, then
top with greens cucumbers, greens and
scallions.
A juicy seared salmon fillet, sat on
top of soft fluffy smashed potatoes, spiked with
scallions and drizzled with horseradish cream.
These Aushak (Afghan Leek and
Scallion Dumplings) are
topped with a spiced meat sauce, dollops
of garlicky yogurt, and a sprinkle
of thinly sliced fresh mint.
