As the report explains, a
total of 4 in 10 districts even noted that «technology
difficulties» had a «major impact» on the
test results.
Goodman [51] reported data from a small sample of UK parents retested 3 — 4 weeks after initial
testing, the intra-class correlations ranged from 0.44 for the «burden» item from the impact scale to 0.85 for
total difficulties.
Each
test was made generation - fair for G2 by replacing outdated words such as «muslin» with words of comparable
difficulty.5 For each generation, scores from these
tests were standardized to a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1, summed to create a
total score representing overall cognitive ability at 8 years, then re-standardized.
