To name but a few: I've had mercs spotted through walls,
enemies alerted to a mercs presence for no apparent reason (yes I understand the stealth mechanics),
enemy AI is appalling (you can eliminate a building full of
enemies but just running a merc
around the perimeter of the building, thus alerting the
enemies, and then shooting them all as they come out of the door), the game is riddled with typos (e.g. some of the mercs have a trait called «though», which is obviously meant to be «
tough»), the voices acting is poor and annoying (who honestly wants to have their merc scream the same phrase over and over again every time you select them?)
The shooting is tight, although
enemies are pretty
tough eveb
around Normal difficulty and the lack of a cover system or a crouch button means that you'll be going less gung - ho than you'll want to.
You have the ability to fly with some of the characters so you can easily come across treasure, some
tough enemy encounters or optional dungeons, as you make your way
around the world map.
It's electrifying to watch the camera gracefully swoop under and over and
around Theron and her
enemies in every new bit of hand - to - hand combat; Leitch is not a director who relies on quick cuts, or shaky handheld shots, to obscure the
tougher parts of his set - pieces.
It adds an emphasis on moving your character
around more in order to actually be able to target an
enemy, which isn't only more difficult in general but can also see you put into an awkward situation when cornered by foes — Iron Crypticle is already a pretty
tough game, so having the gameplay mechanics working against you doesn't help.
There will be some late game events that can be
tough to get through, but for the most part, it is very easy to just run through
around twenty
enemies as long as you are patient.
Given these upgrades, the
enemies within the game are expected to be much
tougher opposition this time
around.
Landing consistent shots can be
tough with
enemies grappling
around the map, so you may find success with a different weapon / play style.
You'll have a
tough choice every time you encounter
enemies, especially since folks who hang
around an abandoned insane asylum aren't known for their manners.
It's never a bad idea to keep weaker
enemies around when fighting
tougher enemies.
I'm not exactly sure how the rewards work out if you defeat them, but these
tough one on one bouts are pretty cool and definitively not something you want to try when there's
enemies around.
A Hero Mode adds more challenge into the game, mirroring the world
around you and making
enemies tougher to fight.

You get all of the orgiginal's DLC, plus a new boss, new locations, tons of platforming in them, and even
tougher enemies that constanlty move
around so you can't just juggle them forever for a quick victory.
This dungeon will contain
tougher enemies the deeper the player journeys in and is home to The Radobaan, «a hulking beast that wears the carcasses scattered
around the Vale for armor will need hunters to be quick and fast as they take off chunks of its bone armor and avoid its rolling attacks».
