towards more of a
plant based diet will aid weight loss, benefit both those with diabetes and hypoglycemia by reducing the «total glycemic load» of your meal, reduces pain and inflammation, slows the aging process, reduces the toxic burden placed on your liver by
eating high on the food chain, and saves the planet by
eating less meat.
My diet has always gravitated
towards fresh fruits, veggies, and
plant based foods, and for a substantial portion of my life I
ate a vegan diet, starting at age 13.
I'm not vegan, but I lean
towards eating that way most of the time, and part of my experiments with making
plant -
based swaps in my favorite meals has brought jackfruit to my plate.
Maybe this post is a bit premature, but I feel myself continually being drawn
towards a 100 %
plant -
based diet and know in my gut that whether it's now, or I
eat scrambled eggs tomorrow and it doesn't happen for another month, I'll eventually be there.
Eating a mostly
