After working on the bottom area of tea
towel under the glasses, I turned the painting upside down to work on the background above them.

glass and capture the distortion of the checked tea
towel where it has rippled
under the
glasses.
Using the same vinegar / water and paper
towel technique, apply the
glass paint to the
under side or bottom of the dinner sized
glass plates.
