The problem is whether
the traditional climate model is correctly interpreting climate change.
As IO have extensively proven in my papers and by proponent of the AGW (see for example Crowley, Science 2000),
the traditional climate models produce a signature quite similar to the hockey stick graph by Mann which not only simply disagree with history but has also been seriously put in question under several studies.
In fact,
the traditional climate models do not model several mechanisms that may contribute to a significant amplification of the solar impact on climate beginning from a cloud modulation from the cosmic ray which is solar induced.
The primary objective of this work was to expand upon the capabilities of past GFDL models used to study climate on seasonal to centennial time scales by the addition of a comprehensive and interactive carbon cycle in the land, ocean and atmosphere to «close the carbon cycle» in the same way we do for water and energy in
a traditional climate model.
