Content — The Song of Achilles, a novel by Madeline Miller, is a good example of how the
traditional publishing apparatus does bring excellent books into the
world, in this case after 10 years of
writing and revision.
You can see from all the scrambling of
traditional publishers that they can see the
writing on the wall and it says «nanny nanny boo boo» to their

The Shayne Parkinsons, Vicki Tyleys, L.J. Sellers, and Richard Tuttles of the indie
world — authors who
write very well and excellent stories but who were unable (or unwilling) to break into the
traditional publishing
world — now have a chance to be discovered and claim the large and broad readership their writings deserve.
Then, their novels (or, as I distinctly gleaned, their «real
writing») could be saved up and more intelligently submitted to the can't - be-bothered
world of
traditional publishing.
For instance, if you've
written a book on spirituality, Google «Spiritual Radio Shows» and start sending inquiries to shows listed on sites like: • Sedona Talk Radio • HayHouse Radio • One
World Puja Network • New Age Spirituality Talk Radio • Inside Personal Growth (podcasts)
Traditional radio stations are also in play, of course.

While there's plenty of focus on
traditional journalists in regards to corruption and questionable ethics, most people simply ignore that Youtube is far from safe, and that contracts like the one seen for Shadow of Mordor indicate that the problems so often associated with
written journalist may be slowly seeping into Youtube's
world.
It isn't innovative in a
traditional sense, but it smacks companies like Ubisoft in the face and screams at them that massive
world can be packed with worthwhile stories rather than filler content, that huge games can be launched with relatively few problems, that dark and mature doesn't just mean bloody and shocking, that the audience deserve smart
writing and that consumers can be treated with respect instead of ramming pre-order bonuses and other crap down their throat.
They ditched
traditional models in order to engage in real time on bill C - 51, launching a blog about it (antiterrorlaw.ca), publishing their work on the
world's largest open - access database — the Social Science Research Network — sending it to public policy - makers,
