film's
previously - released
trailer (see above) offers a better look at Hazel's daily life, via a talk with her parents - one that's rather different than the conversations most teens have with their mom and dad - as well as an extra moment or two between she and the young Augustus Waters (Elgort): a teen amputee and bone cancer survivor, whose thirst
for life and upbeat personality make it all but impossible
for Hazel to be immune to his charms (or so the
trailer informs us, anyway).
The
Film Arcade has unveiled an official
trailer for the new
film written / directed by Lake Bell (of the excellent In a World...
previously) titled I Do... Until I Don't.
Per the
film's
trailer, it appears this time returning auteur Adam McKay will be fearlessly tackling the period's race politics with a similarly incisive eye to that he
previously brought to bear on gender perception in the 1970s, and with a laundry list of Hollywood power players lining up
for cameo roles like this is goddamn Altman or something, suffice to say that it's going to be an effort to stay classy till Christmas, but we're going to have to try.
We've
previously only seen the first
trailer for the
film, but thanks to a presentation by the animation studio today, we now have a better idea of the cast, their characters, and just how they'll look in the finished
film.
