if not then keep them on what they are at the moment, we should be using the cash for bigger
transfers on bigger players.

transfer lets no kid ourselves the kind of
players we want / need to boost the team we can not get in Jan because Jan is not the period for
big moves... we may and that is a BIG may sign 1 player as reserve maybe on loan... but Wenger will see it as by Jan we will have 9 players back that is almost a full team and wont really see the point to adding to

bigger picture (hoping there exist one) when it comes to
transfer windows, than hold
on to little «promises» of getting «atleast one
player» every other January.

With
transfer fees continually
on the rise and this summer seeing some crazy prices paid for
players, such as the signing of rumoured Arsenal
transfer target Gonzalo Higuain by Italian champions Juventus and the crazy money set to be shelled out by Manchester United for their former youth star Paul Pogba, is this why Arsenal have made just one
big transfer so far?
Before the Gunners signed Pierre - Emerick Aubameyang this summer, all the Arsenal

Maybe you are right but of the rumoured 150M we still have payment commitments from previous
transfers that have not been completed, then wages which will be a
big issue since a 40 - 60M
player will probably be
on 180 - 200k, also we will most likely be getting a reject like James Rodriguez or Turan since we are out of the champions league and if they are
on the same level as ozil then we might as well not bother with them, then add onto the fact it may not be easy to get rid of our unwanted
players like Walcott for example who will pay his 140k ontop of a 20M
transfer fee?
On one hand, the home grown quota policy plays a
big part in pricing this sort of

but the long - term solution is for AFC to get rid of itself of what has now become its
biggest liability: a manager that well past his prime that * is ultimately unambituous (not buying the best
players), * ineffective in
transfer windows by not paying enough or having enough backups, * passing
on players like fabergas & getting kalstrom, * unable to motivate his
players up for the
big games, * unable to get the best out of his team by putting them in weird lineups, * favoritism to certain
players, shuns others (like pod / roz until they lose their skills), * inability / unwillingness to adapt formation for
big games,... thank you for the memories wenger: all good things must come to an end.

The rain started beating us the moment we watched as our rivals spend
big thinking that Wenger guarantees top4 trophy, we are now languishing at 6th
on the table, but are now spending two top strikers signed breaking our
transfer record twice that's a positive and may it continue.you also notice that new
players take some time to adapt we are now started swing the best of lava and auba. After finishing 5th last season there is no instant coffee solution it will take time and effort to challenge for top honors

Players out of position And don't get me started
on transfers and always trying to pass through small gaps and not using width
As for the
transfers, I said he could have done better, but we are starting to buy the world class
players that arsenal deserves... My point is that
on the day it's arsenals 11 against the opposition 11, and it's up to the
players to get the win... Wenger plays a
big part in the tactics and formations yes... However ultimately it's down to the
players to come up with the result... I think the
players get away with poor performances too lightly as wenger gets the brunt of the criticism, ultimately it was a poor performance by the
players yesterday not by wenger
I know that Arsenal fans have had our problems with La Liga's Barcelona at times, sometimes
on the pitch with our meetings in the Champions League and sometimes off the pitch as they have poached a few
big players off us, especially when Arsene Wenger was working
on a very tight budget and unable to fight off
transfer interest in his best
players.
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira
on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew
transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic
on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing
on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great
player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving
players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class
player upfornt he just needs to work very hard
on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team
player you could put him
on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his
biggest asset to us or
on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get
on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes
on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
Was expecting this article to say something along the lines of Mesut willing to sign another deal or a pay increase or some incentive to keep him
on, like Wenger planning some
big transfers etc... all this article says is that Mesut chooses his words wisely whilst playing his cards close to his chest... no doubt we all know a
player of his talent will be gone end of next season if we don't win the AT LEAST the league.
i think this could officially be the start of the end for wenger his blind arrogance has cause him to buy welbeck in the sheer belief that AGAINST THE ODDS HE CAN BEAT THE REST OF THE
BIG 4 WITH ONE ARM BEHIND HIS BACK we should be buying top top top european c / l standard
players not sunderland spuds everton standard
players thats about welbecks standard of club in all truthful reality he is an honest hard working
player but wenger thinks he can coach the mediocrity out of him he is truely insane its a guaranteed source of goals we need not more fancy hold up play and «pace» and missing chance after chance so the postman is to be joined by the manchester metro tram absolute disgrace he has kidded
on ozil and sanchez they must be wondering what is going
on atm they are seeing the true wenger now just panicking and not panicking very well to that effect and for some reason wenger has gone all kinky for english
players for some strange reason at least chambers has great potential welbeck has past that stage and is a seasoned pro now and he is no where near what we need wenger is trying to show how great he is by whiping the back out of the same
players week after week in the vain hope that he can win the league without rotating ever and they will get injured and he wont have learned his lesson and we will pay for it in the end best last day
transfer would have been a 4 year contract for klopp
The
biggest problem has been wenger for long time now «project» run Arsenal football club as an academy and try to prove to everyone else he is the one who knows better and try to bring in kids who have potential but not ready for 1st team resisting spending money to improve squad depth and cling in
on average
players: Iwobi, welbeck, theo, chambers, holding and
player other
players on wrong position Monreal and not give opportunity to good footballer Perez and Campell also you have been holding too much power from
transfer,
players contracts, arsenal finances as a whole and now all that BS start to backfire
While our
big Premier League rivals and most other clubs around have spent more and more money
on players we have not jumped
on the
transfer bandwagon and Wenger has often spoke about why he thinks that the ever increasing spending is wrong and perhaps even unsustainable.
Wenger did want a good DM / CM that year but he does not want to take a
big dent
on his
transfer budget so he can capture a top top
player — Ozil.
As
transfer begins to shape up around
big clubs, there will be great
players who will be seeking the exit door for this reason, and Arsenal will be pouncing
on one, if not some, of them.
Big names such as Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis have since been brought in, while club legend Didier Drogba has also returned to Stamford Bridge
on a free
transfer and promising youngster Thibaut Courtois has returned to the club after three years out
on loan with Atletico Madrid — and it is these signings that look to have pushed these two
players out of the exit door:
Well we are all making our contributions, moreover our contributions are decent individually, Wenger knows the direction he is heading towards when it comes to
transfers, when he speaks with the press don't rely
on his words, he speaks with the press sometimes to encourage the fans and conceal the truth in him.nevertheless my verdict concerning this issue of alexis sanchez and arsenal is that, wenger should keep hold to his words by not selling alexis, he should allow him to see off his contract if he refuses to sign because next season alexis will turn 29, he has already at the pick of his career, by allowing him to stay we can mount title challenge come next season and this will really give us an advantage even for him to o sign another contract with arsenal, arsenal is a
big club, they should how to hold, encourage and lure their best
players to renew their contract rather loosing them to other top clubs, especially title rivers
The extra fitness and confidence that the
big striker will hopefully get at international level is good news for the Gunners, of course, but it is also very important for the
player himself, as he now finds himself with extra competition at club level after Arsene Wenger completed the
transfer of the Spanish forward Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna before the summer window closed
on Wednesday.
Although the Gunners must focus
on bringing in
big name
players this summer, it wouldn't be an Arsenal
transfer window if there wasn't speculation surrounding an unknown youngster and therefore I feel this won't be the last we hear of this deal.
on whether this has been the most difficult
transfer window... It is difficult because there's more money in football, more clubs with
big resources, and less
players available.
As well as the kudos of being in the Champions League and the attraction it holds for current
players or
transfer targets, the money the Gunners earned every season was a
big help in getting us out of debt quicker and allowing Wenger to now spend
big money
on players like Alexis and Ozil.
The
transfer window isn't even shut yet though; you can say we should just pay over the odds to have a more complete squad for the extra cpl matches - but saving # 3 - 8M
on each of multiple
transfers may equate to affording the signing of another
big player in a future
transfer window - & when you don't have the same financial resources as several of your rivals, that stuff is important.
Even someone with as
big an ego as Mou will know that another # 5M in wages to keep an unhappy
player on the bench and the loss of a # 10 - 12M
transfer fee is not worth it.
The
player's agent seems intent
on earning his client a
big move, and will now hope to invite offers from interested parties before the end of this summer's
transfer window.
It is not getting any better for Arsenal fans and Arsene Wenger, and instead of the last few days of the
transfer window being a period in which the problems of the team could be sorted by spending some
big money
on the right
players after a poor start to the latest Premier League campaign, it is turning into a time of even more misery as we lose key stars to direct rivals and are unable to replace them because
players do not seem to be too keen
on signing for the Gunners anymore.
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a
big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn
on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying
on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting
on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few
players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization...
on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned
transfer window didn't have to do with the
big name
players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make
big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
Biggest Concern is with Arsenal that they can not spend
on transfers the way City, Chelsea and United can... And if Ozil and Sanchez leaves this summer then we would Require 3
players in squad including 1 striker but certainly we don't that much Financial strength to spend 150 Millions for buying 3
players... We would only able to replace either Ozil or Sanchez or none of them if buy any striker...
Manchester City have the
biggest spending power, with up to # 108million to splash
on new
players during the summer
transfer window.
Even though Arsene Wenger admitted that the Arsenal squad was a bit too
big and did a lot of his
transfer work this summer
on thinning it down rather than spending money and buying some
big name
players like the fans were hoping for, we still have a strong squad because a club like ours needs one.
the teams from northwest (of england) do not mess round when it comes to football we'll have plenty
on our hands when we face efc, lfc, manu and man city we ain't made a
big enuff statement in the
transfer window we need two more quality
players or we will take a swallow dive and go deep into freefall.
