Many other
translations, following the
translation of the Hebrew
Scriptures into Greek known as the Septuagint, speak
of a «virgin» rather than a young woman, although the Hebrew word means a young woman and not necessarily a virgin.

Most often, when the authors
of Scripture want to write about eternal life, they use the words «eternal life» (or «everlasting life» in some
translations).
If one does a comparative analysis
of various Bible
translations,

scripture, they will often find the word hell or sheol, hades, pit, or grave.

translation of secret writings on golden tablets as is claimed for the Mormon
Scripture, nor did it fall from heaven as Islam asserts about the Koran.
Have a couple
of friends who are interested in working on the needed trilogy: completely new
translation from Greek NT; commentary explaining the new
translations; a systematic theology that is built totally from
scripture and lets Calvin, Augustine, Arius, Arminius, etc. rest in their graves.
(My answer — So we can lead the faithful to believe that the copying,
translation and the church's interpretation, teaching and preaching
of Scripture is correct, what God is saying.
First, the average English
translation of this text is fine, and second, I do not want readers
of the English Bible to think that the only way they can see Jesus in the violent passages
of Scripture is through creative
translations from the Greek and Hebrew.
