I wish I could do this all
day (developing / testing recipes, learning food styling, taking
photos,
traveling, writing articles, etc.) but I can't.
I made and photographed some Burmese food this past weekend, but I've been up to my eyeballs with taxes and reading
travel guidebooks over the past couple
days, so I haven't been able to do any
photo editing or recipe writing.
What a perfect way to start the
day — a trip to Basque country (which has now been placed very very high on my
travel - bucket list) Beautiful beautiful
photos — and I can't wait to try some of the recipes.
Definitely a struggle when you're not feeling enough quality time together... I like keeping
photos of my fiancé around when he's
traveling, whether on the fridge, my phone, etc. so that I can feel like I've seen him even if it has been a few
days!

travelling as a group is that there's always someone to take your outfit
photo, so after the show Jen and I went back to Midtown to explore a little and snap our looks for the

This week the United States will celebrate the July 4th holiday — our Independence
day — I'm excited to share our annual
photo essay capturing the American flag, and other historical landmarks in the United States that have been captured by many of my fellow
travel writers.
Every year National Geographic's Traveler holds a contest for the best amateur
travel photo; 2008's winner being a candid shot from within the Prado Museum in Madrid, a
photo that earned this lucky photographer a 15 -
day voyage to Antarctica.
During my morning routine — wake up, coffee, spin through the local and national papers, twitter, TheExpeditioner, coffee, Facebook, coffee, dabble about the
day's
travel writing — I found a

Everybody's got one: that perfect
travel destination that has you daydreaming, sighing wistfully as you scroll past Pinterest
photos, and constantly updating your itinerary for the fateful
day when you finally get to visit.
Whether the social media maven in your life is constantly posting wanderlust - inducing
travel photos, another new outfit of the
day, or drool - worthy meals, we're sure this list of gifts will get a double tap of approval.
I was on my computer going through some

day, and came across my pics of Bonn.

travel blogs are the Facebook pages they create,

photos they haven't taken themsleves and lots with quotes on them!!

Nowadays, Instagram is swarmed with people calling themselves
travel photographers, and there is over 80 million
photos uploaded to the app each
day.
On the other hand, some sites post daily and offer things such as a
photo of the
day (or week) along with
travel videos.
A few exhaustive
travel days, and the past 3 mornings up before 5 to shoot
photos meant I was in a dream state already.
