This is something to consider and it's also why I recommend if you try this, you use HIIT
treadmill workouts only a couple times a week.

Focusing solely on cardio and becoming a slave to the
treadmill is not
only unhealthy, it also keeps you from exploring the gym, getting acquainted with other
workout regimens, and spending more time on important things like strength training.
If I'm doing 20 mins HIIT on the
treadmill followed by 20 mins steady state and my goal is fat loss
only what should my post
workout meal be?
I have been trying to incorporate a higher intensity (moderate, I usually
only do low) cardio into my
workouts and I'm fine on the epileptical and the bike but when it comes to running / jogging on the
treadmill I find I can
only go for a few minutes.
One, it's got you lifting weights, which is always more fun than jogging on a
treadmill to nowhere, and it strengthens your muscles too (particularly your core and your grip, since this
workout uses
only kettlebells).
So this
workout is
ONLY 12 minutes but just be warned these minutes go by more like
treadmill and microwave minutes, you've been warned!
Not
only are HIIT
workouts shorter and way more fun than slogging away at a
treadmill doing «cardio», but there is a ton of research showing that HIIT
workouts provide unique heart health benefits that traditional cardio doesn't

only had one horrible
treadmill.
As you can probably tell I
only warmed up on the
treadmill for 10 or so minutes and then jumped right into my 20 minute
workout.
these days the
only workouts i can tolerate on a
treadmill are speed.
