In celebration of World Health Day, we're sharing a deliciously healthy

My picky family doesn't cake anymore for muffins but they do love cookies and these chocolate chip muffin top pumpkin cookies are great at breakfast,
in your
lunch box or as an afternoon
treat.
With that said, she (now 20 months) gets these little
treats every now and again
in her
lunch box and she LOVES them.
I used to make something very similar to this for my daughter to take to school
in her
lunch box — we called them «sweet
treats» — we all ate them, actually, cos they tasted so good:)

I know, I know — juice isn't that great for kids, but I started sending juice
boxes in my daughter's
lunch as a special
treat and now she kind of expects it and at least if she's drinking juice then she's not too dehydrated and don't judge me, okay?
With apple season around the corner, my kids thought Gluten & Dairy Free Apple Hand Pies were just the thing to make to have on hand for tucking
in the
lunch box as a special
treat or for taking to the apple orchard when it is apple picking season.
Bliss: I totally agree — we are also a household
in which nothing is «off limits» and although dessert is only officially sanctioned on Friday nights (as part of our Shabbat meal), believe me, my kids are getting plenty of
treats throughout the week, whether from school handouts or from goodies I sometimes slip into the
lunch box (like pudding, cookies, etc.) or from other people's homes.

in the real world» pleasure meter.
Now make a double batch of ice cream and use the extra egg whites to make either coconut macaroons or the Coconut - Almond Kisses found

lunch box meals.
