The Family Links Nurturing Programme49 (FLNP) has much in common with Incredible Years and the group - based component

of activities to help foster key life skills such as safety planning, relationship skills,
emotional expressive skills and empathy, cognitive coping, and self - regulation.
The National Center for Health Statistics reports that a child
of unwed or divorced parents who lives only with her or his mother is 375 % more likely to need professional
treatment for
emotional or behavioral
problems.117 The child is also more likely to suffer from frequent headaches118 and / or bed - wetting, 119 develop a stammer or speech defect, 120 suffer from anxiety or depression, 121 and be diagnosed as hyperactive.122
