piece every once in a while, but for the most part I am all about classic basics that can be
worn countless ways.
Whether you
wear it this Fall with the
trendiest booties or you
wear it in the Spring with a pretty chiffon dress, this is one

I singled out what I actually want to
wear, what feels comfortable, what's easy to pick and what goes with everything else and ruled out
trendy pieces that don't agree with me, uncomfortable and only - once
worn items.

I made a conscious decision that I would stop impulse buying «
trendy»
pieces that would only be around for one season and instead concentrate on building the perfect wardrobe full of classic investment
pieces that I would
wear again and again.
It can be hard to figure out how to
wear these
trendy fashion
pieces, and what events they are or aren't appropriate for.
I still like to go for a sporty / basic look when I
wear my leggings or any
piece of activewear outside of the gym — pairing it with a hat (normally a cap or beanie of sorts), a pair of cool sunnies, and a
trendy backpack.
When it comes to shopping for clothes, this means that I'm looking to save on
trendy pieces (or not have them at all) but splurge on quality
pieces that I'll
wear for years.
But there are also
pieces that I
wear again and again and I'm not caring at all whether they are «
trendy «at the moment.
I love
trendy pieces that can be

Most of women over 50 are afraid of
wearing trendy clothing, but I think everything depends on self - confidence and the way how women can combine one clothing
piece with another.
Something I've noticed is that I've been stocking up on more classic
pieces versus those
trendy pieces that can be
worn for only season.
Do I really like this
piece of clothing or am I just
wearing it because it's
trendy?
It's a
trendier piece that can get lots of
wear if you're not scared to go for it, and Cristin definitely isn't!
I especially love the Who What
Wear line because it's made up of
trendy, yet sophisticated
pieces.
I'm hoping this will give you ideas and inspire you to dress up such a casual and masculine wardrobe

Although not
trendy or a fun statement
piece (which I am usually a sucker for), this timeless coat has become one of my all time favorite purchases and I
wear it constantly each winter.
I'd like to really invest in quality, unique
pieces because I truly feel that you can
wear them more often, and for longer than cheaper,
trendy alternatives.
Sure, I have plenty of cheap,

wear a few times and then get rid of when I'm sick of them, but a lot of my
pieces have history to them.
And while I don't see this trend lasting much beyond the 2013 cold season, I do think it's a fun way to update your closet with some inexpensive
