Most of these are old news, but recently I noticed something that genuinely surprised me in the
pieces coming through my various feeds — apparently, these days,
doing nothing counts as a
trendy new productivity trick.
Being
trendy does not necessarily mean buying new
pieces all of the time - that gets expensive and takes up much needed real estate in the closet!
You don't need a lot of new things each season, just a few, strategic,
trendy pieces.
Older kids wind up costing more in clothes than younger kids
do, thanks to peer pressure to purchase certain kid clothing brands and
trendy clothing
pieces that are the «must have» items of the season.
Don't get me wrong; I love a good
trendy piece as much as the next girl, and might splurge on one of those if I really love it.
You
do such a good job of mixing classic
pieces with
trendier pieces.
I didn't want the living room to look like a Pinterest board come to life (i.e. super
trendy), and I also wanted all the
pieces to feel organic and not overly «styled».
I agree, it makes more sense to splurge on items that are classic or that you know for sure you'll get plenty of use out of, which doesn't typically include
trendier pieces.

You are so right, of you don't dress according to your body type and if you're not experimenting and finding out what looks the best on you, you will end up buying tons of clothes which won't go into good use and end up being frustrated for those
trendy pieces looking great on somebody else and not on you.
I'm all about mixing high and low vintage with
trendy It's all about finding the
pieces that you love and sticking with them and making sure you don't break the bank on one outfit!
It's always a struggle to find
pieces that are
trendy, but also classic enough to last in your wardrobe for multiple years — you don't want to be breaking your bank for an item you're only gonna wear a couple of times.
All you have to
do is mix in one
trendy piece with the basics you already have, like these booties!
As a fashion blogger I don't consider myself
trendy by any means, however I
do like to incorporate some
trendy items with older
pieces already in my wardrobe.
Often times we equate «lighten up our style» with
doing away with the old and bringing in new lighter or more
trendy pieces.
Not something I usually
do but I guess it's because I'd hardly think of check blazers as being
trendy so much as a classic and timeless
piece to have in...

trendy»
piece into a classic?
And I agree, I always try and purchase
trendy pieces at a lower price point, so if I don't like it, I don't regret how much I spent on it!
I singled out what I actually want to wear, what feels comfortable, what's easy to pick and what goes with everything else and ruled out
trendy pieces that don't agree with me, uncomfortable and only - once worn items.
Don't spend your life savings on these
trendy pieces, though.

I am not a fan of flashy labels and logos but I
do love adding a few

I generally avoid Forever 21 these days, but for some reason, figured I should pop in to see if I could find a few
trendy pieces that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
We don't know if it's the off - the - shoulder neckline, ab cutout or
trendy cropped length that has stars falling in love with this scarlet one -
piece, but it's officially the hottest red carpet outfit in Hollywood.
So if you still don't have this type of jacket in your wardrobe then go ahead and refresh your closet with this
