I've never
tried celery root before, but I recently discovered I'm allergic to potatoes, so I'm may be giving this a try soon... Thanks so much for sharing it at Savoring Saturdays, Kaila.
We loved the recipe twist — none of us had
tried celery root and it was surprisingly delicious even though we aren't big fans of celery — plus, Becca opted to add chili powder and 5 spice for a touch of complimentary warm spice.

I have honestly never cooked with
celery root, so I am excited to
try this.
If I've convinced you to give

try, you can find it at the University Farmer's Market at Willie Green's.
Any combination of
root or winter veg will work in this recipe, but I've
tried the following with great results: winter squash (e.g. butternut or acorn), sweet potatoes, carrots,
celery, potatoes, cauliflower, beets, turnips, radishes, parsnips and brussels sprouts.
I'll always
root for the underdog, so I decided to explore
celery and
try some recipes that give it a starring role.

So we may add in some extra clean, you know, soluble fibers to help with binding that can have apple, pectin, or
