Hi Shelley, I prefer to use buckwheat or brown
rice flour but you could
try coconut flour instead!
I haven't made panna cotta with soy,
rice or
coconut milk, but I'd be interested in hearing from any who have
tried any of them.

trying to find a good ratio of other GF types such as brown
rice,
coconut, quinoa etc..
I haven't
tried it myself, but you might be able to sub the brown
rice syrup for yacon syrup or
coconut nectar.

I recently developed an intense love of

I've always loved the combo of
rice and
coconut, so that's one I'd definitely love to
try.
I'm definitely
trying this and cooking the
rice in some
coconut milk sounds like a great idea.

Try brown
rice syrup or maple syrup,
coconut sugar, or raw sugar; and amend the dry ingredients if need be to take into acct the moisture in the sweetener.
1/2 cup tapioca flour or arrowroot (I've
tried both and both work equally well) 1/4 cup
rice flour (I use white, but could also use brown) 1/8 teaspoon sea salt 2 eggs 1/2 cup milk (or I use 50:50
coconut milk / water mixture)
No vinegars of any kind and absolutely no
coconut product (oil & flour etc.)

tried to make
coconut flour from pulp in vitamix but i got shredded
coconut not flour like consistency... super fine like the
rice or millet flour i made... what went wrong??? i let it cool from oven and i used 4cups in 64oz container each time.....
You can
try substituting brown sugar for the
coconut sugar (omit the optional molasses) and maple syrup, agave nectar, or honey (not suitable for vegans) for the brown
rice syrup.
I may give it a
try as I found a receipe by chance for sweet potato muffins and it uses both brown
rice flour and
coconut flour and they turn out quite nice, not crumbly at all.
Made these this morning didn't use
coconut but added
rice crispies chopped dates and sultanas and pumpkin seeds and 1 cube of crystallised ginger chopped and they turned out wonderful thanks
trying to cut out carbs and sugar.
To be honest I've only just started to bake with these alternatives to standard wheat flours but I've had excellent results trading
rice flour for
coconut flour in the two recipes that I've
tried so far.
I promise I use either
coconut oil or extra-virgin olive oil and my favourite flour is
rice, buckwheat and spelt for I
try to avoid wheat flour whenever I can.
I would like to
try them again with the full amount of honey, and adding some shredded
coconut and maybe some

Ever since we discovered that conventional dairy triggered my oldest son's eczema flare - ups, we have
tried different non-dairy milks like soy (which we don't drink anymore),

I increased my sat fat intake, mainly from
coconut oil which I had actually
tried cutting out earlier this year (due to Cordain's advice) and I've started limiting my meat to about 1 lb a day, and I've started limiting my fruit to 2 or 3 servings a day while increasing vege intake, especially from green leafy vege's, while increasing my carb intake a little by eating some white
rice for the first time in years.
Besides making this recipe with cow's milk, I've also
tried it with

In an attempt to simplify we bought Raw Meal to cover the
rice protein, chia seeds, and greens part... only using one scoop and plan to add homemade goat kefir, kale, and some frozen fruit... and maybe
coconut oil or nut butter... Since I'm
trying to stretch one scoop to 3 categories and feeding it to 2 adults and 2 young kids should I be adding more scoops?

ryan; hi, i buy the chia seed powder from the bulk barn and I have had really good results from putting this powder in my smoothies along with protein powder, frozen fruit, half a frozen banana, natrel milk, or almond,
coconut, cashew,
rice dream milk,
coconut flakes or shreds, stevia powder etc in your smoothie recipes, not all at once through and I mix up these and I have
tried new ingredients, mixed them up and I have even made up some new smoothies that taste realy good.
