you try it with sweet potatoes on the side, I think you'll find that it has a milder taste.

try heating boiling water in a pan, placing the
sweet potato in a sieve or colander, covering
with a lid and steaming that way.

try adding a couple of medjool dates to the mix too, they sweeten it up and enhance the creaminess and if you feel like you need a crunch, add a little less milk and then pour the smoothie into a bowl and top it
with your favourite granola, nuts, seeds, raisins, cacao nibs, fruit etc for a delicious smoothie bowl.
Really sadly I don't think there is a replacement for the dates as they really stick the whole thing together, it may work to
try making them
with a little more
sweet potato and a little more maple syrup but I can't promise anything as I haven't
tried it!
