The theories that moon gravity waves,
ocean ionization, and proton / electron
changes could somehow
trigger an increase
in temperature seems to be quite bizarre to me.
These tipping points could be ice sheets on Greenland and Antarctica melting permanently, global food shortages and widespread crop failures with more extreme weather, rising
ocean temperatures and acidity reaching
triggering a crash
in global coral reef ecosystems, and warming
oceans push the release of methane from the sea floor, which could lead to runaway climate
change, etc..
A paper published
in October last year, for example, finds that
temperature changes in the Atlantic
ocean could be
triggering warm conditions
in the Arctic, and cold weather over Europe and Asia.
The wobbling of the planet
changed how the Sun warmed the Earth periodically, which appears to have
triggered complex feedbacks that may have released carbon dioxide from the
ocean or other sinks, which,
in turn, further increased the planet's
temperature.
