These results refute a recent claim that model and observed
tropical temperature trends «disagree to a statistically significant extent».
Christy et al. (2007) find that
the tropical temperature trends from radiosondes matches closest with his v5.2 UAH dataset.
Nor have Christy et al. corrected the serious statistical error in their 2007 International Journal of Climatology paper, «A comparison of
tropical temperature trends with model predictions,» a post-Wegman paper, but it speaks to their credibility.
