You can always talk things through later to drive home the finer points when things are less emotional and
true learning stands a real chance of happening.

true and what isn't, they'll be disinterested in science as a subject, and our already declining test scores in math and science will decline further while we
stand around bickering over whether our kids should

While I can only do so much, the children still get bombarded with those things at home, I'm glad that in my class, they have a safe place to express themselves in a way that's

But, the reason this detail
stood out to me so much is, to me, it keeps everything
true to what these sorcerers and sorceresses represent: dangerous and reckless students who haven't
learned everything they need to and are just winging things on their journey.
I believe that by
learning to care for your mind, body and spirit you can overcome any obstacles that are
standing in the way of your
true happiness.
