man's freedom
of choice, and its explicit theme, especially in the New Testament, is the paradox that

love of the law by the grace
of God.
Be very mindful how you pin a name on your brother sister; remember the church is there the burden and those who have sinned yet we become so eager to judge; the word has already judged him, God at this very moment is dealing with him in ways that no
man can as we judge him, we have judged ourself, we can easily forgive when his sin is like ours, but when it is not; they killed CHRIST CAUSE HE SAID HE COULD RISE THE TEMPLE IN THREE DAYS; to the people
of that day and time it was a lie; as we forgive him we are forgive ourselves for believing in
man and not the word; the word is still
true, and God can still use him; but we must believe and fellow the word God no matter what; God has a way
of making something good out
of what is bad; that where the hope comes in; the faith in blessed redemption; heal our nation lord; heal our minds

One thing seems to be noteworthy: even the
true freedom
of choice, that is the freedom which consists not only in the absence
of external compulsion but in the fact that
man must freely decide about himself, and which is, therefore, a demand rather than «freedom» — this freedom becomes evident only in Christianity, because only there each individual is eternally valid (in the personal
love between God and
man) and hence must realize himself in perfect responsibility and thus in freedom.

God as
love - in - action is more than any particular expression
of His
love (hence He is transcendent); God as
love - in - action is always available (hence He is onmipresent); God as
love - in - action is able to envisage every situation in its deepest and
truest reality and accommodate Himself to it, so that He can indeed achieve His
loving ends (hence He is omniscient and omnipotent); God as
love - inaction is unswerving in His
love, unfailing in its expression, unyielding in His desire to confront
men with the demands
of love (hence He is righteous).

But insofar as this psychology talks
of man's deep emotional drives, his purposive activity, his striving for realization
of selfhood, his need to
love and to be able to receive
love, and with these the twistings and distortings which may be uncovered in him — insofar as it does this, it helps us see something
of what
true fulfillment is about and has much to say concerning such actualization
of man, with
man's consequent «satisfaction» and the joy which it provides, about which in an entirely different idiom the heavenly city was a picture.
Those who claim to be Christian strive to follow the model he gave (one

man was not created to rule
man)-- but rather in God's Kingdom... the only
true panacea to ANY and ALL
of today's worldwide problems.
Christ as the realization

The image
of God in
man has been defaced, so that there remains only an awareness

The tendency there has been in Christian thought, from quite near the beginning, to depreciate the

The heart
of all real religions is an affirmation that human life on this planet is only part
of something very much greater; that «human values» are determined by an authority higher than human beings themselves; and that
man neither finds happiness nor discovers his
true self until his worship, his loyalty and his
love are given to Someone infinitely greater than any
man or group
of men.
Cavadini's argument seems to stem from a fundamental misunderstanding
of what
true friendship» and

man lay down his life for his friends» (John 15:13).
As soon as Augustine calls this young
man his «dear friend,» he takes it back: «But he was not in those early days [
of childhood], nor even in this later time, a friend in the
true meaning
of friendship, because there can be no
true friendship unless those who cling to each other are welded together by you [God] in that
love which is spread throughout our hearts by the holy spirit which is given to us.»
