the true test of our faith is how it works itself out in love, and love for our neighbour.

Since
faith is the act
of trust in and loyalty to God, it can not be reduced to doctrinal
tests, for they misdirect it and therefore divert one's vision from the One who is the source
of all
true faith.
Maybe God planted the Bible as a
test of faith, and everyone who takes it literally as 100 %
true is failing?
For those who must believe in a god, what if there is indeed a god but his
true test, which hasn't been revealed in any
faith / book, is whether or not you exercised your free will during your time on the planet to believe in any
of the various
faiths / books
of hate and intolerance that man created?
Every believer ought always to be examining the content
of his
faith, ought willingly to undergo this
test; because it is only the
faith that is «unprotected» by some intellectual or sociological reinforcement that is
true faith in God in Jesus Christ.
Despite the challenges and
tests life has to offer — from marriage or lack
of marriage, children's choices, poor health, lack
of opportunities, and many other problems — they remain remarkably strong and immovable and
true to the
faith.
