The fourth
film, Goblet of Fire, was ably but unmemorably directed by Mike Newell (who, in a
truly odd coincidence, is scheduled in 2012 to become, with Cuarón, the second Potter director to release an adaptation of Great Expectations).

truly came into his own as a star of low - medium budgeted independent
films such as director Marc - Andre Samson's taut thriller Interstate (2006)(as a young man trying desperately to reach his girlfriend in Los Angeles, but waylaid by drugs and the trappings of an
odd motel), and directors Lucky McKee and Trygve Diesen's violent psychological thriller Red (as a disturbed young man who plays the role of accomplice in killing a senior citizen's dog).
As and end to this makeshift trilogy, the ultimate conclusion is unlike anything even fans might expect, and
truly lives up to the title of the
film (even if it's a bit
odd).
Director Bob Byington makes a lot of
odd films with weird and quirky characters which I
truly appreciate.
The town and its inhabitants are wonderfully
odd, and there are a lot of
truly inspired moments in the
film.
The writer / director of «Crystal Fairy» and «The Maid» premiered a
film at Sundance for the fifth time this weekend and the result is an
odd hybrid of
truly personal filmmaking and a final act that goes just horribly awry.
But it's Kids in the Hall alums Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald who steal the
film as two
truly odd teachers at Sky High.
