Here's the deal: it's okay to
try a kegel or two while you urinate in order to «check in» to see if you are doing kegels correctly (i.e. if you can stop and re-start the flow of urine).
Or
try a Kegel while you're having sex and ask if your partner can feel it.

Kegel correctly, the vagina should contract around your finger (
try not to hold your breath, and avoid clenching your thighs, stomach or butt muscles at the same time).
To do

trying not to pass gas.
Another test: You can
try to stem the flow of the fluid by squeezing your pelvic muscles (
