If you want to try a healthy low - carb sweetener on pancakes,
try yacon syrup it's delicious I'd maybe just avoid it unless your limit is at least 25 g net carbs a day.

trying this recipe this weekend, but I'm going to top the waffles with
yacon syrup instead of maple syrup.
I haven't
tried it myself, but you might be able to sub the brown rice syrup for
yacon syrup or coconut nectar.

Update: In response to many of the comments I've received thus far, I haven't
tried making these without
yacon, though feel free to experiment; just be sure to stop back here and let us know how your version turns out: — RRB - I use the
yacon in place of molasses (it's a pre-biotic that aids in digestion).

yacon syrup — but if you give it a
try, let me know how it goes!
But I'm going to
try!!!!!!!!!!! I do not eat sugar, nor substitutes, nor aspartame, saccharine, stevia - due to the processing, and have stopped
yacon and agave - especially since Agave is now being touted as being cooked at a high temps before packaging.
I removed the
yacon powder (too chalky / grainy for me) and replaced it with honey and have yet to
try the maca powder for adrenal health.
