Other than that, I'd probably
try almond meal, but you'll get a somewhat lower protein result.
You could
try the almond meal — not sure how the dough will respond though and it will have more carbs so if you're counting be sure to add the carbs for whatever you sub with!

As I didn't have
almonds /
almond meal at home, but I couldn't resist to
try to make this bread, I made some substitutions and it came out just perfect!
I initially used 75g oats and 25g
almond meal, but had to add another 75g oats to
try to firm it up as well as letting the mixture sit for a while so the oats could soak up the liquid.
I've also
tried it with whole flaxseeds, rather than the
meal,
almond butter instead of peanut butter, walnuts instead of
almonds — the possibilities are endless!

tried the same recipe with oat
meal crumbs instead of
almond for my husband to make it little more healthy.
I can't say i've
tried them with anything but
almond meal but you can definitely give a heavier weight flour a
try.

almond meal / flour here instead of regular flour but I haven't
tried it so I'm not positive.

almond meal for other recipes, and it doesn't mix as well, the oils tend to separate from the dough ball and drip out.

tried your receipe this morning sub W / W pastry flour and
almond meal in place of barley and then 1/2 c of graham flour and 1/2 c of millet flour.
If you don't have wheat or gluten allergies, feel free to
try subbing 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour for the
almond meal / brown rice / oat combo.
I also
tried their Vanilla Coconut Macaroon and
Almond Butter Goji ball and both were great for when you went a sweet way to finish the

My recipes will not work with unblanched
almond products, or
almond meal, in fact, they will be epic failures, so I do not recommend even
trying unblanched products.
Try hazelnut or walnut
meal instead of the
almond flour if you're not allergic... Regarding sweetness in the dish, use honey if you're afraid of maple syrup and you can always omit chock chips and use cacao nibs.
I think you could
try replacing the
almond flour with flaxseed
meal or just another high protein flour like quinoa.
oh and people have told me they dehydrate the nut pulp to make
almond meal and hazelnut
meal but I haven't
tried that yet.

tried them out yesterday, was a HUGE success... the only thing i'm not 100 % happy is that even after the food processing, i still find the
almond meal and icing mixture slightly grainy... any advice on that?
If I were to
try it, rather than 1 cup of
almond meal, I would use only 1/4 cup of coconut flour.
I am super impressed with the recipe and excited to
try them again bu reducing a bit of sugar and more
almond meal & protein powder next time.
The bread crumbs are also something I don't use in my cooking so I decided to
