Also Deb, if you hate
cooking bacon on the stovetop because of the mess, have you ever
tried baking it
in the
oven?
Next time I'd definitely use a bone -
in piece of meat and either
cook it for 6 - 8 hours
in the crock pot or
try roasting it
in the
oven.
Maybe
try lowering the temp
in the
oven and
cooking longer.
It's
in the
oven cooking and I'm so excited to
try it but this is the first time I've baked bread from scratch so I don't know how / where to store it so it stays fresh.
I haven't
tried baking these
in the
oven, though I am not too surprised to hear that it
cooked unevenly.

try doubling up your pan

oven, or making sure you're
cooking on the top rack.

oven is convection and may be hotter so
try cooking them another 5 minutes and leaving them
in to cool a little longer.

This is for that time we
tried to
cook a turkey
in my Grandma's
oven when only half of it was working, and half the turkey came out raw (oy).
You can reheat them
in the
oven at 350 until warm or microwave them on 75 % until warm through... I wouldn't
try to make them piping hot when reheating them — they will dry out and over
cook.
To speed up the
cooking process,
try putting the flatbreads it
in the
oven — bake them at 350 for 10 minutes or until
cooked through inside.
I haven't
tried making this without the egg, but I think it would probably be ok, especially if you
cooked them
in the
oven because they'd be less likely to stick and break apart.
I
tried this recipe today and added a ton of veggies before
cooking it
in the
oven.
My first attempt
in trying similar crackers was using a dehydrator but seeing that they took a rather long time to
cook using a dehydrator (around 10 hours), I
tried to recreate these cracker using my convection
oven.
Tried drying the
cooked bread
in a 250D
oven for about a 1/2 hour.
I would definitely
try this
in my new Le Creuset Dutch
oven (I adore Le Creuset and only
cook in it!)!
We usually autopilot to omelets when we think about egg - and - vegetable breakfasts, but a frittata gets my brunch - at - home vote for the fact that you can let it
cook in the
oven while you shower (or lie
in bed with the shades drawn until the timer goes off) and because you don't have to worry about wrecking it when you
try — and fail — to flip it without making a mess, something most of us have trouble with even when we're firing on all cylinders.
I've put them back
in the
oven for now on a lower heat to
try and
cook the middle but I don't know how I'll go using them as an actual bun, haha!
Try dry roasting quinoa
in a pan or
in the
oven before
cooking to give it a toasted, nuttier flavor.
After letting these
cook for about 10 minutes, I barely got them out of the
oven when the entire family came rushing
