try flash fiction, but don't know enough about it.
So now my mission for the year is to encourage you to
try flash fiction.

The old
Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers serials were not science
fiction, the «alien invaders» flicks of the 50s were likewise fantasy, and it continues today with such non science
fiction films as Independence Day, Red Planet and Event Horizon
trying to claim a genre title of which they are not worthy.
In the case of the
fiction series,
Flash will act as a teaser for readers who are perhaps not willing to invest in a full - length book by a writer still unknown to them, while also encouraging readers still not convinced by the digital format to
try it out.
After a day or so, I
tried my hand at
flash fiction.
Because of a complete lack of time, I decided to
try something new and do it as
flash fiction.

I entered the program as a poet and came out as one, but I also drafted a (terrible) novel,
tried my hand at some short - and
flash - length
fiction, experimented with creative nonfiction and memoir essays, and wrote a ten - minute play.
I've chosen «
fictions» and «
flash fiction» as my preferred labels for the categories that I'm
trying to summon into view.
(Also note that next week there won't be a
flash fiction challenge — I used to
try to schedule them while I'm gone, but lately WordPress has had scheduling issues, and gives me an error when I
try to schedule half my posts for some reason, and they never go up.
If you want to
try your hand at self - publishing, your own themed
Flash Fiction anthology, created in this class, is a nice place to start.
I'd experimented with different kinds of stories, done some prose and those other «rhyme - y kind» of poems, and for a period of time even
tried to write as short a story as possible... and this was before anything called «
flash fiction.»
You should give
flash fiction a
try.

I usually
try to write at least a peice of
flash fiction every day in my notebook during lunch, and then I can decide if the story has legs to be made into something larger.
And since I
try not the start anything new before I finish my current projects,
Flash Fiction is the answer!

So it is your job as a player to dig deeper into the story which
flashes back and forth, think Pulp
Fiction, where you jump back and forth in the story, and
try to find out everything that has been told to you and why you are the way you are and who Aiden is and why he is following you.
I'm
trying an experiment with this post — a heavily footnoted piece of
flash fiction.
