When I was growing up outside
of Detroit there was a company called Sanders and they made the best pre-maybe caramel cake and icing I've ever had in my life... This comes right underneath that... The only thing that I will do differently is I would make the frosting the day before and let it sit out in a cool place at least 24 hours... Because this allows the frosting to stiffen up even
more... Putting it on when I did, which was like An hour or so after I made it, it's still kind
of went down the sides and onto the plate but when I went back today to get another piece and I pulled it up off the plate and re-frosted it then it stay this time... Thank you so much for this

Tried out two different
recipes to make homemade sprinkles - the first
of which I saw here, the second being a bit
more of a royal icing... The first batch [on the right] I kept very thick, and it was firm enough to set, but ended up settling
as little bubble shaped dots... does anyone out there remember the candy from the 80's that had bright dots on strips

recipes from good sources, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Given so many variables in which the whole adds up to
more than just a sum
of its parts — with various ingredients and techniques in play -, the quest for a perfect egg - free cake might be starting with a «depression cake»
of sorts and seeing how certain properties (rise, crumb, flavour, stackability etc.) could be further improved by tweaking it, rather than
trying to find an universal egg replacer for just about any
recipe (convenient
as that would be).
This is great, I've been
trying to eat healthy and fell in love with quinoa, but
as you said it's not easy to get it cooked the same
as delis and resturants, I gave up and bought a rice cooker with the intent for settling on brown rice
recipes, it cooks my rice perfect everytime.I'm running out to whole foods now excited that I can get 4 varieties or
more of organic quinoa.
I used canned beets in one
of the trials and it didn't give off
as bright a red color
as the freshly roasted beets, probably because the color is diluted in the water the beets are canned in... however, you can give it a
try because the
recipe provided is
more likely to retain the red color because
of its acidity.
I'm going to
try more of your LC
recipes because if they are even half
as delicious
as this they'll be worth a
try.

When I was young, before I went vegan, and
as I began attempting to cook
more complex meals, one
of the first
recipes I
tried, with the help
of my mom...
Meanwhile brown rice syrup has become the sweetener du jour
of late, given it has zero fructose, and is another good option to
try but not quite
as sweet so you may need to add
more to your
recipes.
I will definitely
try these again with the right kind
of flour,
as I am one
of the odd balls that doesn't care for choco chip cookies (constantly searching for the one
recipe that will make me a convert), but these had me sampling too many
of the still cooling cookies for
more.
If you like cooking with barley, you might want to
try out a few
more of my favorite vegetarian and vegan barley
recipes, or, branch out and
try some new - to - you whole grains and ancient grains, such
as teff or kaniwa.
After having
tried Paleo for 6 weeks, I decided that with the exception
of using it
as a source
of great allergy - friendly
recipes, I prefer a
more inclusive eating style that regularly includes some grains daily, and legumes occasionally
as a source
of carbohydrates.

trying to find a
recipe so that we can all make commitments that are differentiated so each country would not have the same obligations — obviously China, which has much
more poverty, should not have to do exactly the same thing
as the United States — but all
of us should have these certain obligations in terms
of what our plan will be to reduce these greenhouse gases.
