trying products on my face since I have sensitive skin (if you've been following my blog you know I struggle with acne prone combination skin).
So this will be my post
on beauty products I recently
tried out and will give you a short review.
I was really excited about the
Beauty Box because 1) I have been dying to
try out a majority of the
products in the box 2) it was
on super sale and 3) it has a full sized Butter London polish in it!
Again, I
try out a lot of
beauty products on a regular basis (and tend to switch up my routine quite a lot), but always come back to this mousse spray.
Last week, I made my way over to Walgreens in the heart of LA to
try out some new
products with Tim Gunn and Marsha Chilko - Tim and Marsha gave me a tour and highlighted some of the exciting new P&G and Walgreens cosmetic /
beauty products and shared their thoughts
on not only the use of each
product, but how pertinent they were in the fast - paced nature of the fashion scene.
I recently had the opportunity to attend a blogger brunch put
on by Neiman Marcus and ICanStyleU and was able to
try out some of their new
beauty products.

try making my own homemade / DIY detangler hair spray with what I have
on hand.

I figured I would invite ya'll along
on my little
beauty adventures as I discover new
products and share some old
tried and true favorites.
This past year I have
tried out many
beauty and skincare trends (and with my best skin ever) here's a list of some trends I think should be carried into the New Year, as well as some new
products I plan
on trying and adding to my regimen.
Of course this led me to
try out all sorts of cosmetics and so I started writing my own
beauty products reviews, focusing
on cosmetics with the occasional skincare
product review and nail polish reviews.
Also, Erika came over
on Saturday and helped me
try out some new
beauty products, including an activated charcoal mask that was so refreshing.
They have a million different
products I want to
try (Ombre Lip Duo, Slide
On Lip Pencil, Lip Lingerie, and Full Throttle Lipstick just to name a few) and the fact that they are all under $ 10 is very helpful for my
beauty budget!
Since I've been re-arranging some stuff in my bedroom and have been
trying to get my
beauty stuff more organized (follow me
on Instagram where I document my attempts
on my stories) as a result I've also
tried to get more organized with the
products I keep in my bathroom.
Time for a new
beauty product to
try, and that was Estee Lauder night repair for the eye, which I use day and night since I bought it
on the airport from London to New York last November.
I have never purchased a
beauty blender because I always thought it would be a pain to have to wet it every time I use it and I figured it would soak up alot of
products and take away from the
product I am
trying to put
on my face not add to it.
