I would go with a «greek» version of the yogurt though — you could also
try plain almond or plain coconut greek yogurt!

It is made with strawberries,
plain yogurt (
try natural Greek style), unsweetened vanilla
almond milk, honey and a range of delicious, nutritious toppings, including cacao nibs, sliced strawberries, granola, and chocolate - covered strawberries.
The crust seemed a little flavorless to me, but
almond is just a pretty
plain nut, so I might
try pecans next time instead or something else.
If you just want to
try almond flour out, this recipe does work with
plain ol' Bob's Red Mill blanched
almond meal, which is easiest for me to find in stores.
Try one

1/4 cup 0 % greek yogurt (could also use your favorite non-dairy
plain yogurt) 1 scoop (30 grams) vanilla whey protein (I used Whey Gourmet Naturelle Vanilla sweetened with stevia) 1 Tbsp milk (I used unsweetened
almond milk) 1 Tbsp strawberry jam (
try and use a lower sugar or double - fruit kind with 5 g sugar per 1 Tbsp)
DIY version:
Try mixing one tablespoon raw cocoa powder, a half cup of sliced banana, one teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, one teaspoon of honey, a half cup of
plain grass - fed Greek yogurt, one tablespoon
almond butter, one quarter teaspoon ground cinnamon, and a handful of ice.
You also may
try an apple with
almond butter (no sugar added, please), carrots with hummus, hard - boiled eggs, or
plain yogurt with berries.
Pure water is recommended for ultimate hydration, but for a thicker shake, you can
try plain organic
almond milk.
Instead of the typical cereal in the morning (that's slowly killing you and making you fatter),
try a bowl of
plain greek full - fat organic yogurt (which is loaded with healthy gut probiotics, healthy fats, AND protein) and add in a handful of fresh, organic berries (or frozen wild blueberries), a handful of nuts such as either
almonds or pecans (more healthy fats), and a little stevia or vanilla protein for a little added sweetness if you need it.
Try it with
almond milk, over
plain Greek yogurt, or just by the handful!
