Overdrive is
trying to start a new holiday called «
Read an
eBook Day» and is giving away a number of free tablets and e-readers just by visiting their site.
Ideally the book will be attractive and easy to
read on any device — and because each software application for
reading ebooks has some reader controls, some whose vision is no longer as strong as it once was (like, say, me) can make it larger, while someone who doesn't like serif fonts can have the book display in sans - serif or, heck, Zapfino (don't
try this at home).
Imagine
trying to run an
eBook reading website inside of that.
If you don't care too much about how the
ebook reader looks and only mind your book
reading experience, then you might want to
try this out.
Having written a good non-fiction book that focuses on an aspect of city / urban planning (THAT will help you sleep at night) I have always believed that it would make a great textbook or at least required

I just picked my e-reader up, and downloaded books from Border's
ebooks and everytime I
try to open the file it says «File Open Failed» I
read that several people had no problem downloading from Borders.
Having
tried to
read Outlander without having the book fall and brain me in bed I completely agree —
ebooks so much easier:) I love listening to audio books in the car only when I'm not driving (otherwise I get distracted too easily).
