The same people who protest international support for third - world countries saying «we need to take care of our own first» are ironically the same people who actually want to abolish food stamps, the WIC program, free school lunches, welfare and social security in the US, never mind the fact that the people who benefit from these programs are the ones who cut their lawns, clean their homes, serve their
meals in restaurants, and build their houses, all while going home to a tiny apartment they
share with 6 other people and finding nothing to eat in the house but a can of green beans because payday is still 2 days off and there's only enough gas in the car to get them to work the next two days, so driving around town for 2 hours
trying to find an open food bank isn't an option.
But there is an inherent danger in this approach which derives from the fact that human nature makes it difficult for a group of people to
share money and
meals and chores and living space equitably and harmoniously, particularly if they
try to do this in a democratic way.
I have
tried meal box services, CSA half -
share or just going to the farm market for what I need.
Like most of the latino families, mine is very particular about dessert, we need a delicious and sweet dessert after a good
meal, and we always
try to make something that it will be easy to
share with everyone.
I will admit that I researched a lot of black bean soup recipes and had my fair
share of recipe fails when
trying to make this a 30 minute
meal.
I LOVE hazelnut and I've used crushed hazelnuts to coat chicken, but not the
meal, so I definitely want to give this a

tried some of the simple strategies that I
shared (above), like raising the head of your bed 6 - 8 inches,
trying not to eat anything 3 - 4 hours before laying down for sleep, eating smaller
meals, and the thing that is helping me quite a bit right now (as I said above) is gargling with baking soda (2 - 3 times per day, and do not swallow the baking soda).
I think this
