You can either have friendly competitions against friends and family members or
try solo mode against the computer.

If you somehow haven't even
tried the lite version of Block Fortress before, you should definitely jump on this freebie, as it sounds like there's still a vibrant community for the game's cooperative and competitive multiplayer
modes and it's a complete blast even if you're playing
solo.
There's an automata
mode included in the box meaning it's possible to tackle Scythe
solo through the use of a deck of cards, but honestly I never managed to get around to
trying it.
Playing
solo, you have three game
modes: City Escape, where you control one or more bases working together to gather all necessary supplies and escape the city, Survival, where you fight against riders that want to destroy your base while you gather resources in one week (7 turns) to escape the city, and War, where you

In addition to this achievement, the Paladin and the Devotional Text achievements can also be done in
solo mode and they are significantly easier to do in
solo mode so you should
try get those knocked out if possible.
There are a range of game
modes to
try in
solo mode, like Grand Prix and Battle
Mode, but you can also play with friends or connect to the web to race up to eight people anywhere in the world.
Solo mode tries something different with character progression, but it's a struggle for me.
