tried making Toasted
Coconut Butter and it did not work from them.
One thing you could
try is to rub some
butter (or
coconut oil)
on the top and bottom of the waffle pan in between each batch.

Because I am
on a diet currently I used
coconut oil instead of
butter (I would have
tried applesauce, but can't do apples right now) and molasses in stead of brown sugar, no changes in dry ingredients out of curiosity.

My niece has stomach problems and is allergic to wheat, dairy and eggs so I
tried to make her lemon poppyseed mini cakes and used gluten free flour,
coconut oil and egg replacer, (recipe called for 2 1/4 cup flour, 1 1/3 cup
butter, 5 eggs) but when I mixed it up it was like paste and liquid y
on top, put it in the pan and baked it, (350) and the oil and water separated and came to the surface, looked like I was deep frying, needless to say it came out like hardtack, what's wrong??
Depending
on what the recipe is you could
try and substitute it with
coconut oil as they have similar qualities (especially if the recipe is something like a raw cheesecake) but for this chocolate recipe I would
try substituting it for equal parts almond
butter and
coconut oil.
These are incredible
on their own, but then I had an idea to
try making a raw WHITE chocolate ganache to go
on top, so I threw some ingredients in the Vitamix — cacao
butter,
coconut oil, soaked cashews, agave, lucuma, and some other stuff — to see what would come out.
I make a
coconut butter strawberry frosting and now I need to
try this raspberry version instead
on my chocolate cake next time.

I've
tried every brand of
coconut butter on the market and this one is the best and my favorite!
Or you could
try omitting the nut flour and just using 1 cup of
coconut flour, but you'll also have to increase the amount of nut
butter / tahini, because
coconut flour tends to be dry and crumbly
on its own.
I'm kind of obsessed with my fudgy
coconut brownie recipe, but the nut
butter drizzle you added
on top sure makes me want to
try your version now!
It's not as fudge - y because I used almond milk but instead, I used crunchy peanut
butter so it's fun to bite

tried the recipe with only arrowroot, only soda, a combo of both, adding Shea
butter to the mix, increasing the amount of
coconut oil, and so
on.
I
try to put cinnamon
on those, too, because it helps with insulin sensitivity and then you can choose abundant amounts of good, organic, clean vegetables; high quality fats whether it's
coconut oil, grass - fed
butter, or if you can't tolerate
butter, ghee may be better; avocado oil, I use the Marks Primal Mayo for my mayonnaise because it's really good mayo with grass - fed eggs and avocado oil versus all the soy in canola; and then you high quality meat.

try focusing
on the saturated fat sources (
coconut oil; cocoa
butter, and yes even nuts and seeds).

Since

coconut butter can be good substitutes for nuts and nut
butter, I was
trying to make the recipe helpful for those who either have allergies to nuts or are
on the AIP (autoimmune paleo) diet.
I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant, with a very low PAPP - A (0.19 MoM) and
try and follow Weston Price diet (cod liver / bone stock /
butter /
coconut oil etc), with a main focus
on vegetables and fruit,
trying to avoid grains or eat sourdough bread and rice pasta instead.
You can use these little bites in place of granola if you please, eat them like cereal (something I think would simply be a must -
try), snack
on them as they are, use them
on top of smoothies, add them to some yogurt like
coconut yogurt, or layer with some nut
butter or choice and maybe a banana to make little mini sandwiches.
