While it's important to have staples
in your
kitchen, it's also imperative to continuously mix it up and explore
new recipes, especially when
trying to stick to plant based foods.
The blogging is a creative outlet for me, but sometimes I put too much pressure on myself to post articles, when I really would LOVE to be playing
in the
kitchen with
new recipes to
try out or go outside and enjoy my organic garden (pull weeds!).
Karen helped me restore my confidence
in the
kitchen, she demystified some of the
new flours and ingredients that are used
in gluten free baking, and gave me tons of inspirational and unique
recipes to
try (her cottage cheese muffins with hickory - smoked bacon and chives are to die for... seriously).

new from them and occasionally slimmed down versions are served at my table but I'm going to
try harder to share
recipes with you that I (
in real life) make often and I hope will actually inspire you to go into your
kitchen and make them yourself too.
Not sure that they'll become a staple

kitchen, but this
recipe gave me the opportunity to

new and explore the world of plant based living.
I hope to relive old memories and

Now that our
new home has a gorgeous open
kitchen that I can move freely
in, I've found myself
trying new recipes throughout the week.
It made me feel way more confident
in the
kitchen, which
in turn makes me feel more confident
trying out
new recipes.
Finally I'll have time to rack up on sleep, work on home projects, spend some time
in the
kitchen trying out
new recipes, catch up with friends, oh and get my vacation on with the hubs
in Miami (this I am most psyched about).
