We are constantly going through tub
after tub of hummus around here and no one seems to grow tired of it.
So I'm not on the dessert hummus train yet (forgive me), but I did just buy a
giant tub of hummus so I can have snack lunches all week.
For a lot of quarter - life cooks, store -
bought tubs of hummus are subsistence - level forms of nourishment, akin to cereal and peanut butter, or, in Alex's case, sardines.
My biggest food find was dried beans — better for you than canned, I found that making a
big tub of hummus for the week was great for snacks and making a filling veggie wrap.
In the past, if we were in the grocery store you could almost bet that one of us would throw
a tub of hummus into our cart.
It's actually kind of dangerous because I have been known to go through
a tub of hummus in just a day.
Trader Joe's has been having a hilarious tongue in cheek commercial on the radio over here about handing out
tubs of hummus to trick or treaters and becoming the talk of the town.
