Syrian
hamsters are the strongest chewers of the
hamster world, so keep in mind these

tubes or connection points can be easy targets for a dedicated
hamster who wants to break out.
Note that the
tubes, compartments, and built - in wheels of plastic modular
cages are too small for many Syrian
hamsters.
The included accessories are minimal but well made for syrian
hamsters, with a generously sized
tube that provides another fun hang out spot for your
hamster, a deep bowl that clips onto the

We generally don't recommend
tube cages for syrian
hamsters at all, but if you are set on using one we recommend only using them with short haired
hamster breeds that are less likely to get stuck, and making sure that you keep the

hamster gets themselves into a tight spot.

tubes have the poorest ventillation of any part of the
cage.
If you choose a
cage with multiple levels or
tubes make sure there is no place where your
hamster could fall a long distance.
