Mostly, we recommend you just
roll up the receiving
blankets and
tuck them in right around the head or underneath the arms.
Before laying the baby down, have the bed prepared... so that the babies head is against the bumper or a
rolled up
blanket so it's head doesn't get cold... and if the bed is cold use a fussy
blanket on top of the sheet (
tucked into the railing of course) to make it a bit softer & warmer 6.

rolled a towel and
tucked it under Rowan's
blanket behind his back for this activity.
You can encourage her to play with her feet when on her back,
tucking a
blanket roll under her hips to help her raise her feet and place rattle socks on her feet to entice her.

blanket, grab and hold the corner of it, and
roll over so he
tucks himself into bed.
