I did not have
any turbinado sugar so used the cane sugar to roll them in, but they are still amazing.
Roll the logs in the demerara or
turbinado sugar so that all of the egg wash is coated with sugar.

So, after grabbing a small jar of pectin (for low / no
sugar recipes), a large bag of stevia (swallow) and a pouch of
turbinado, I raced to get a few canning jars!
Let them cool for a couple of minutes, then sprinkle each cookie with
turbinado sugar while still warm
so it will stick to the cookie.
I doubled the recipe and I only had 3/4 cup of agave,
so I added 1/4 cup of

First I partially melted the (unrefined) coconut oil by letting it sit over the preheated oven for a minute or
so, then I added
turbinado sugar (only
sugar I have) and mixed everything else together.
I didn't have brown
sugar so I used 2 heaping tablespoons of
turbinado sugar instead.
So I have gradually started reducing the amount of
turbinado and adding brown
sugar in place of the tubinado.
The
sugar is replaced with
turbinado and the chocolate chips with carob chips,
so grabbing seconds (or thirds!)
