The selection of TFSI
turbocharged petrol engines are relatively smooth, but it's worth noting that the smallest 1.0 - litre
unit, featuring just three cylinders, only
puts out 113bhp.
Other XJ power
units remain as they were, fronted by a 3 - litre V6

putting out a respectable 109bhp at 5500rpm, and 125 lb ft of torque in a band between 2000 - 3500rpm.
The 1.2 - litre, 3 - cylinder
turbocharged petrol
puts out 108 BHP and 170 Nm, while the 1.5 - litre, 4 - cylinder diesel
unit produces 108 BHP and 260 Nm.
The latter was also showcased at the motor show and is believed to
put out 110PS / 260Nm, whereas the petrol 1.2 - litre will be a
turbocharged unit and expected to be more powerful than the diesel motor.
Petrol engine lineup consists of a 1.6 - litre motor that
puts out 115 HP of power and a 1.2 - litre
turbocharged unit which develops 125 HP of power.
