So, I wanted to
share my recommendations for
parents of newborn
twins from The Baby Cubby
While every baby is different — and every
parent is different — I would like to
share with you a few things that have made life with my
twins easier, more manageable, and more enjoyable.
Bed
sharing, known as the family bed, was the norm in the U.S. until a bed manufacturer decided it's much more profitable to convince
parents that there is something wrong with the family bed: And
parents began buying bassinets, cribs, and
twin beds.
There's no evidence that
sharing a crib benefits
twins, though many do it — and some
parents say their babies seem to sleep better.
There are other factors that may lead to
twin language, such as less one on one communication with
parents plus the more developed non-verbal communication skills so often
shared by
twins.
We are
parents to 7 week old
twins, Owen and Verity, and were excited to be given the opportunity to review the Halo Bassinest
twin sleeper and
share our experience with others.
We got a bunch of requests or submissions I should say, people
sharing their stories and this one comes from Ann and I think it is probably something we can all relate to because all of us on the core of
parents have toddler age or even older
twins.

Another consideration of having
twins is that the couple believes that having

As cross-generational
