I'm not going to spoil any of the game's strange twists — but suffice it to say that the level and enemy design is based around an «everything but the kitchen sink» concept which would seem sloppy and desperate in a less entertaining and technically accomplished title (koff... Comic Jumper... koff), but here it just feels like the developers had so many great ideas that they couldn't bear to leave one out of the game.

Seriously, some of these moves are pretty much like fatalities and they have been designed to make everyone wince as kombatants twist necks, break spinal columns, smash skulls, thrust blades in the retinas of enemies and in Raiden's case, launch an enemy into the stratosphere and them back down to earth.
The combination of new gameplay twists (being able to slow down and speed up time) and creative level and enemy design was something to behold.
The game is designed for four player co-op, but with a neat twist — another player takes the role of the villain, controlling hoards of enemies.
I enjoyed the Parkour mechanic from Lost World to an extent, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to go back to high speed twists and turns through intricately designed stages and plowing right through enemies.
