It's still a good time for warm soup
where I live and
where you live too, don't be afraid to keep those «winter»
type recipes coming.
I understand
where you are coming from, and I think gluten free cookbooks can be marketed to different GF audiences — the gluten free crowd is large enough that there is room for different
types of GF books, and so I see a place for both books that do include naturally GF
recipes (which I might call a GF lifestyle cookbook for an all around book with a variety of
types of GF foods), and books whose purpose would be to focus on the more technical
recipes of replacing gluten.
A good place to start is my
Recipe Index
where the
recipes are categorized by course (Breakfast, Dinner, Desserts, etc.), major ingredients,
type of diet, etc..
The
recipe I use now is not the
type where the filling is baked.
With other
types of food, I feel like I understand the flavors enough to whip something up without a
recipe, but I just don't know
where to begin with Indian spices.
Plus, Nutiva coconut manna goes great in multiple
types of
recipes to use as a replacement for butter
where you need a solid higher fat ingredient to make a
recipe work, such as my favorite no - bake cookies.
This is the
type of
recipe where I walk away thinking outside of a macaroni salad box.
Shallots are usually used, again, in my experience, in
recipes where a stronger onion taste is not preferred; so mixing a mild - flavored shallot with a stronger - flavored onion -
type can't help but puzzle me flavorwise in the same
recipe.

Incorporating more «from scratch»
recipes into the family diet doesn't have to be done all the time — we're being realistic here — but instead should focus on the
types of meals and snacks
where homemade makes the most sense.
what confuses me is the

recipe with calcium carbonate... so do I mix that with my behr P510 blue paint....
